: SUMMER COMMISSIONS MEGAPOST!

Since a lot of my big projects have wrapped up and the rest of my work is winding down, I’ve decided to open small batches of simple commissions to help me get through the summer while I work on materials for my upcoming webcomic, The Cloud Factory!

This post is purely informative. I’ll open my first batch of commissions in a separate post after this one, and link to it in all subsequent batch openings, but take heed: If you do not read the following information and don’t make your request properly, you will not get a commission slot.

The Deets

I will be offering batches of four (4) slots 1-2 times a week most weeks, between now and August, for sketch, greyscale, and full color character portrait commissions. That’s 4-8 opportunities every week for the next 8 weeks or so! The schedule will be kind of random, but I’ll try to put up a warning tweet on days I’m going to open a new batch.

In order to offer these commissions at set prices, ensure their prompt creation and delivery, and give everyone a fair chance to get one, the following guidelines apply:

  • Only one commission per person per calendar week (Sun-Sat).
  • Only one character per commission.
  • You must have at least one visual reference of your character; creating one from written description is not an option.
  • Characters can be from anything; original, fan characters, or pre-existing.
  • All portraits will be created at a finished size of 4” x 5.5” (1200 x 1650) at 300 dpi.
  • Portraits will be bust-only (from the chest up) for humanoid characters OR full body for small creature characters (such as Kitten Legs).
  • Payments will be made upfront, in full.

Pricing, Delivery, & Examples

  • Full Color - $175 USD, 72 hour delivery

How To Get One

  1. Send me an ask! Upon announcing that commissions are open, I will temporarily open my ask box, accessible through a link in the post, and close it as soon as four people have responded. It doesn’t have to be a long message! Just make it clear that you’re requesting one of these commissions. If you get in, I’ll respond privately and ask you to send the reference(s) and description of what you want to my e-mail.
  2. Send me an e-mail! I’ll shoot you a line back to confirm I got it and ask any questions I have before I start. Once all the details are settled…
  3. Send me your dollars! Payments can be sent via PayPal to the same e-mail I correspond with. You will receive your drawing within the corresponding delivery window for your selection, starting from the time the payment is received. If I can’t get it done within said time frame, you will have the option of receiving a full refund, or being rescheduled for the next batch. If I don’t receive the e-mail with your refs and description or the payment for the commission within 24 hours of your request, you’ll be removed from the batch.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • You will not qualify for a commission at these price points if you send your request directly to my e-mail. No circumventing the ask box!
  • You cannot request a character that does not already have a visual reference (stick figures don’t count).
  • You cannot ask for multiple commissions in one batch or within the same calendar week.
  • You cannot negotiate for a more complicated commission through this set-price batch process.
  • You will not receive a commission if you do not pay in advance.

The first batch will become available shortly, thank you so much for your interest!

Ahh, Lexxy.  If only I could afford to, I would commission you in a heartbeat.  The least I can do is spread the word so someone else may have the pleasure of doing it.  ;3

I wish I could afford it as well…but this art is so gorgeous as always! I will spread the word to get people interested!

This woman is very talented. If you can, please take time to give her a commission!
